『マイティ・ソー バトルロイヤル』は、マーベル・スタジオ製作の映画『マイティ・ソー』シリーズ3作目。コーグ（タイカ・ワイティティ）は岩のようなごつごつした身体を持つエイリアンで、ゲイだということがIncredible Hulk #619であきらかにされているとのこと。そして、実はマーベルが映画にLGBTキャラを登場させるのは、これが初。コミックやTVドラマはともかく、これまで映画にLGBTキャラを出したことはなかった（少なくとも、キャラのクィアネスを描写することはなかった）んです、マーベルは。
"New Warriors"はマーベル原作のTVシリーズで、「アベンジャーズほどすばらしくはない」（IMDbより）パワーを持つ6人の若者を主人公とするアクションコメディ。放送は2018年から。ケイト・コウマー演じるデブリーというキャラが、カミングアウトしているレズビアンで、かつ念動力のあるスーパーヒーローだとのこと。
『ブラックパンサー』はマーベル映画『シビル・ウォーキャプテン・アメリカ』のブラックパンサーが主人公の新作映画。フローレンス・カスンバ演じるところのアヨーはブラックパンサーのボディガードのひとりで、コミックBlack Panther: World of Wakandaで女性との恋愛関係が描かれていたキャラ。とは言え、マーベルはコミック版のそのストーリーラインは映画には使わなかったと主張しているらしいです。
この巻のサブタイトル"Two Boys, Five Girls, and Three Love"から、ひょっとしたらヘテロ恋愛の要素も混じってくるのかと思っていたのですが、実際にはこの巻（kindle版）に登場する異性愛はサンシャインの父母の過去話だけでした。話の中心は、あくまでガール・オン・ガールの関係にあります。
まとめ
現時点でもっともラブストーリーの要素が強い巻だと思います。それでいて恋愛だけに終わらず、疎外された者の痛みや怒りに寄り添い続けるシナリオが、とてもよかったです。なお、Action Lab Entertainmentの公式Tumblrによると、レイヴンのシリーズはアートチームの変更に伴う小休止の後、"Raven: Love and Revenge"（『レイヴン：愛と復讐』）という新章に突入する予定だとのこと。ついにあのクソ兄貴たちへの復讐が本格的に始まりそうで、ガールズたちの恋の行方ともども超楽しみです。

1巻では控えめな描写ながら「ハーフエルフのサンシャインがレイヴンの現カノ（候補？）だとしたら、地図作成者のジメラはレイヴンの元カノ（または、片思いの相手だった？）」的なニュアンスがあったのですが、今回もさりげなくその路線が維持されています。レイヴンに抱き着いて胸元にすりすりするサンシャインの姿はまるでセシリー・ストロング(またはレスリー・ジョーンズ)に甘えるケイト・マッキノンのようだし、そこに割って入るジメラに向ける表情もやはりどことなく「現カノvs元カノ」風。一方、かつて自分で描いたレイヴンの肖像画をひとり見つめるジメラの姿を見ると、レイヴンとジメラでカップリングが成立する可能性も否定しきれず、今後の展開がますます気になるところ。12月発売予定の3巻のサブタイトルが「2人の少年、5人の少女、そして3つのラブストーリー（"Two Boys, Five Girls, and Three Love Stories"）」なので、そこで何か大きな動きがあるかも？

Please help! I have a very precocious eight year old daughter who began speaking at nine months and decided that she would marry a woman before she turned two. She learned the term lesbian from the show Supergirl, and now matter of factly proclaims herself a lesbian to anyone. My little blue haired human would love to meet other self-identified tiny lesbians, but I don’t know where to find them. Most groups/services in my area are geared towards older children. She loves reading and would love to read about younger children who know that they are LGBTQ. She tells me that it is heartbreaking to have to continually explain to other children, and adults, that wearing a suit IS something girls can do, they can wear bow ties daily, and when they dream of their future it can include a woman. When I ask people where I can meet other tiny lesbians for my little human many of them question if she is really so self-aware or if I am identifying her that way. I listen to my children and know that my 10 year old son is straight and my eight year old daughter is a lesbian. I know this because they told me and I listened, and if they tell me something different another time then I will believe them then as well.

ほら、こういうことがあるから、メディアにおけるマイノリティの表象ってものすごく大切なんですよ。主要メディアでの女性の描かれ方を問うドキュメンタリー映画『ミス・レプリゼンテーション』（日本のNetflixで、字幕付きで見ることができます）の中で、「人は、見えていないものにはなれない（"You can't be what you can't see）」ということばが紹介されていますが、性的マイノリティの描かれ方についてもほぼ同じことが言えると思います。もっとも性的マイノリティの場合は、「なれない」というより、「自分が何者なのかわからなくて苦しむ」と言った方がより正確ですけど。
学校の演劇で舞台装置を担当することになった12歳のミュージカルオタク、キャリーが、舞台の上でも下でもさまざまな騒動（ドラマ）を経験するという筋立てのコミック。序盤でゲイだとカミングアウトするキャラがいて、ほかにも両性愛またはクィアの要素が出てきます。まるで最高に脂がのっていた時期の『Glee』を12歳バージョンにしたかのような、大変よくできた思春期群像劇で、キャラたちの迷走する恋模様も、トラブルにぶつかりながら舞台を作り上げていくプロセスも、本番での"Show must go on"な緊迫感もすばらしいのひとこと。男の子同士のキスシーンもあり、超キュートですよ。
